Years ago, I was in Seattle leading programs and building teams in the corporate world. The work, my chronic physical and mental health, and the pandemic opened my eyes to community heart-work.

So, I shifted gears and began exploring counselling. One thing led to another, and eventually, Five Squirrels Therapy Service was born, built around one idea that when we individually understand ourselves, we begin to make choices that are kinder and more fulfilling for self and others.​
Hi, I am Germaine. I am a counsellor, a trainer, and a mother of two lions and a dog.
Sometimes, we enter a season that blows in unexpectedly. We do our best to figure things out, but we can't put a finger on what's really going on or how to untangle it all. Getting therapeutic support can bring understanding and clarity, enabling individuals to make informed choices.
I work with individuals, families & caregivers who seek support for trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, ​relationships conflict, grief & loss, and major life transitions.
I help people understand themselves and choose the kind of life and relationships they really want and truly matter through a co-creation and trauma-informed approach. ​​​​
